BMD & Co. Ltd, a member of the Bowen Group, is a leading provider of mechanical, process, structural engineering and modular /skid mounted solutions.
Health and safety is a key corporate driver at BMD. We recognise the importance of Safe-T-Cert and the contribution it can make to our continual improvement.
We were delighted to work with Safe-T-Cert team during our recent certification process. The auditor was very proficient, reliable, and knowledgeable and proposed some very constructive observations.

"Although the system is in the early stages of implementation, benefits and improvements have already begun to be realised such as in document management. We believe that going forward the Safe-T-Cert system will assist us in controlling Health & Safety documentation required within the industry, eliminate complexity and improve consistency." |

"Safe-T-Cert is of particular value to us because it has been specifically tailored to meet the needs of the construction industry.
Independent audit is the only truly transparent way of making sure you don’t start kidding yourself about how well you’re doing and is unquestionably the way of the future. It offers access to best practice and is a great way of achieving continual improvement and maintaining momentum in the development of safety culture.
It helped to strengthen the safety culture in our company by requiring the participation of everyone from the managing director to the site staff in order to achieve, the Safe-T-Cert, and that participation has been maintained.
What is, especially, of great value too, is the tripartite nature of the approach, involving the endorsement of Government as well as industry employer and employee organisations.
So, it may be a relatively young scheme but it has an excellent pedigree." |

"In an ever changing industry with increasingly challenging projects we at Eamon Costello (Kerry) Ltd regard Health & Safety as our number one priority both on & off of site. For this reason we see great benefits in acquiring the Safe T Cert as a means of both continuous assessment & improvement. It is also of great benefit in assuring our clients & employees that we are fully intent in operating a safe working environment & ultimately in keeping Health & Safety to the fore. Like all other aspects of the industry it needs to be implemented through adequate supervision administration & co-ordination on site & we feel that Safe T Cert greatly assists in amalgamating these tasks into a workable operation. The acquisition of the Safe T Cert is merely a start. Retaining it is our goal."

"In 2005, we wanted to achieve the highest obtainable Health and Safety Management System and in June 2006 Clancy Construction were accredited with the Safe T Cert certificate.
Acquiring the Safe T Cert was a very thorough process but it has left us with an excellent Safety Management System, which enables Clancy Construction to continually improve our approach to our overall Safety Management System. Every company has an obligation to ensure the safety of their employees at work and the Safe T Cert process has provided Clancy Construction with a superb Safety System to ensure the well-being of our employees in years to come.
We would therefore have no hesitation in recommending the Safe T Cert accreditation certificate to other members of the construction industry."
